Found about 3 years ago and misidentified, I bought this prototype. I’ve included some pictures and documentation that I’ve collected. Series 2 chassis was converted by Carmichael between Oct 1960 and Mat 1961. Used as the demonstrator at the BFSA and CFOA conferences for two years, it was subsequently registered and sold to Shoreham Airport as their crash tender. It was sold in the late 1980’s to the manager of the Badminton Estate and used at their airfield. It fell into disrepair during the late 1990’s and passed through a couple of owners before I purchased it 3 years ago.
