Shirley started life in Swindon, England (DOB 1st Jan 1961), then on to Yatton Keynes until a spell in Leitrim, Ireland (14th Sep 2007), a spell in Wexford; back over to Surrey, England (30th Jun 2019) until 6th Sep 2024, when she moved to Dublin, Ireland – all via 9 owners.

Shirley has a smooth 2.25 ltr petrol engine, has a Fairley Overdrive fitted to help with the faster roads, and a winch for the swampy tracks. As a lot wheel base, she is currently fitted with seats for 9 people (all with seatbelts!!) and can be easily converted to a pick up with a hard top cab. In a previous life, she was fitted with a full hard top, when she worked as a recovery support vehicle for a bodywork company.
Shirley is now for pure enjoyment, making new friends, and sharing with as many people as possible.

Her most recent claim to fame is as “Best in Show” at the 2026 Series 2 Club Rally in the Lake District – an unexpected but cherished recognition.
