September 1971 Series 2a 88″ hard top with side windows

Restored 2019-2022 by a club member, bought by me Jan 2022. Full photo evidence of the restoration on Facebook under “Land Rover Series 2 restoration”. It is the last 115 number to be built, originally in Marine Blue with a 2.25 diesel engine now upgraded to 2.5 200 Tdi from a Disco 1 and painted in Bronze Gree with Limestone roof. It has a galvanised chassis with many newly galvanised parts, 109 front axle with 11′ brakes and stainless steel exhaust. The Range Rover diffs. and 7.50×16 Michelin tyres make easier motorway driving.

In my ownership I have replaced the shocks with Girling Classic, fitted a new 200Tdi radiator, added more sound proofing. new brakes shoes, seat belts, Mudstuff door cards plus more to make the vehicle more user friendly. One of the previous users was Henry Priestman of “The Chritians”.
