Grey, canvas roof; low mileage (46,000), owned by the same family since new; petrol 2.3 litre, classified as a Historic Vehicle (no tax or MoT required). The following items were added to the car when purchased new, ie factory fittings: Fairy Overdrive on all gears; windscreen washer kit; heater and demister; free wheeling hubs; fuel filler padlock; rear seats / cushions; hand throttle control; front and rear towing plates; two front Rover safety belts.
This Land Rover has only been used for domestic, never agricultural or commercial use; Garaged throughout from purchase. Chassis and bulkhead both solid. Not used for last 20 years, so significant maintenance required to get it road worthy again. Now running well and insured for the road. Complete with original Land Rover ‘Instructional Literature’ (Maintenance Manual, Instruction Manual) in as-new condition as well as numerous receipts, including the original 1968 purchase receipt from Henlys of London for £780!
Extensive recent maintenance carried out, over £3k on work. Condition is good but not concurs. The following parts have been sorted:

Zenith carb serviced, overhaul kit
New fuel tank (2022), including new outriggers and new float level unit
New brake master cylinder
New brake slave cylinders on all four wheels
New clutch master cylinder
All hydraulic brake and clutch pipes replaced with copper pipes
All flexible hydraulic hoses replaced
New brake shoes all round, front and rear
Handbrake serviced
New fuel pump (mechanical)
New rear silencer
Replaced dynamo with reconditioned unit
New voltage regulator control box
New fuel gauge sender unit
New inlet manifold
New exhaust manifold
