Title
1969 Series 2a 6 cylinder 109 project
Description
Here’s some bullet points:
•Has an early series 3 6 cylinder engine with late viscose fan coupling
•Has a Richard galv chassis
•Has a Pegasus e-coated bulkhead
•Overhauled engine, gearbox, transfer box and axles
•Salisbury rear axle
•Parabolic springs
•Upgraded front drums (NOS)
•New wiring loom
•Remoulded Steering wheel
•Overhauled steering system
•Brake lines are set up for dual circuit and are included but not fitted.
•Some fuel lines and pump included
•Bodywork includes rear tub, roof, windscreen, both front wings and bonnet
•Converted to a 10 seater with second row bench seat.

•Made in Jan-Feb 1969 as a petrol, was converted to a diesel and has been converted to a 6 cylinder petrol under my ownership.

All parts used are either OEM or NOS, many orders from PA Blanchards

The car needs the brake lines, fuel lines and bodywork to be fitted. All the drivetrain has been overhauled by the book. The front axle has brand new swivel’s and a leather gaiters. All bearings and seals have been changed on every part of the drivetrain. Most of the parts were sandblasted and painted with red oxide then POR-15 black paint.

The project has been going on since Jan-2024 and circumstances in my life have changed which means finances and time are not enough to finish the project in any meaningful time.
I’ll include all the parts for the project I’ve collected and any spares for it too.

Viewing is available.

Given what’s being included and the quality of the work I’ve done so far I’m looking for £9000 but am happy to negotiate on price.
