This is a 90 Defender TDI 2495cc colour white.
This car was a UN vehicle prepared for a Sierra Leone campaign (?). As such it has, I am told, some upgrades. The obvious ones are that it sits higher on raised suspension (all really good order). Similarly an improved cooling system. I don’t know much else but it has what you see – roof rack, spare wheel on rear door, rear window guards.
Four former keepers. Engine sounds really good – so starts drives etc – but needs MOT. It has been used on an estate since the MOT last ran out just for a run around and fun.
I have a Series II already which I spent years on to get back on the road so when I got this car it went down badly at home! I need to sell. It does need work (bulkhead has some rot points for instance) -it can be a case of doing the MOT related work or like I did with my Series 2 spend years restoring it fully.
To make things simple the asking price is fixed / no movement. Happy to show the car to anyone but like I say please don’t visit to try negotiate. Fixed price and I believe well worth it. Will be cash when visiting/collecting only.
